Doug Alm, the owner of Doug's Diving, started diving at the age of 10, back in 1964, where he was part of a local dive club for Oregon and Washington. In 1972 he entered the Navy and for the next three years dove in the Philippines, Hawaii, California and Mexico. Out of the years of hunting and diving experience, Doug has the most fun diving on the northern Oregon coastline. He became a Dive Instructor in 1989 and moved on from there. Doug now has a dive shop in Garibaldi, a 3 dive boats, a commercial dive operation, as well as a booming clam-diving operation.
